Arranged Image

Synopsis:

Arranged Image is a collection of prints and books exploring the tension between natural emergence and human intervention. Captured primarily during travels, each photograph reveals how objects — plantains, stones, leaves — settle into patterns shaped by invisible forces like gravity, wind, and time. These naturally arising arrangements reflect a wild coherence, born not of intention, but of relational fields and chance encounters.

When the human hand steps in — stacking, aligning, or grouping — the spontaneous order transforms. A new, deliberate resonance emerges, raising questions about where observation ends and control begins. Does arrangement honor the field or constrain it?

Through these quiet inquiries, Arranged Image meditates on the nature of coherence in relationship — between seen and unseen, between emergence and design — inviting viewers to consider how meaning is shaped, altered, and sometimes amplified through acts of attention and arrangement.
